    3. I applaud you-- I was a Navy wife for 23 years raised my kids in RI, MD, NY, CT (four times), Va and Germany. Our commissary grocery bags said NAVY WIFE, THE BEST PART OF THE NAVY on them. When my husband retied I was given a pacque by his CO commending my 23 years of service to my country.     2. That retirment plaque brought back memories. I too was a Navy wife, and only time Navy recognized me was that plaque thanking me for my service as a Navy wife when my husband retired. Sure enjoyed those years, looking back. Thanks for letting me remember.     3. 20 yrs, Army Security Agency '56-'76 Wed in '59 in Germany to Danish wife; Went from Pvt E-2 to SFC then appointed to WO1 in '69 Vietnam; Retired as CW3 in '76 and haven't looked back. 2 daughters raised during those years. Have been collecting 50% back-pay ever since....
