Sylvia, The White who sold the house to Cornelius Hidecker was ,,, Moses or Chiles, of course right now I cant remember which one. Their father was Reuben White and he was in the Rev War. There was a write up about him in the WJ many many many years ago. One of Reubens daughters married a Hidecker so actually Moses ( or Chiles) sold the place to his cousin. Im going to have to look up which orignially owned the house. Reuben has pension papers on Heritage Quest and has a flag in the Windham Cem saying he was a soldier of the Rev War. > From: esi@francomm.com > To: nygreene@rootsweb.com > Date: Sat, 5 Feb 2011 14:25:20 -0500 > Subject: Re: [NYGREENE] Wagon Wheel Boarding House > > Hi Carol, yes these messages are out to all on the list, and this is what > the list is really about, so don't be shy - keep sharing these memories. > > Lorna - your White ancestor, can't remember his first name.
