    3. Hi, I remember as a kid, riding the bus down Mitchell Hollow and passing a boarding house called the Wagon Wheel. My mother said it was owned by a man named Anderson. I know it later burned down. My question is, I have seen a postcard of the Hidecker House on the Windham Historical Facebook site, and I was wondering if the Wagon Wheel and the Hidecker House were the same house, because they really look the same. Thank u Lorna

    3. Lorna, I was probably on the same bus !  the original property was known as the Hidecker House and was bought by my father and grandfather around 1939.  It was operated as Wagon Wheel Farm from about 1940 to it's sale in 1969.  After the sale, my parent's, Al and Gertrude Anderson moved to Florida where my father passed away in 1974.  My mother is still living near me in Georgia.  Are you a Barlow?   Carol Anderson     --- On Thu, 2/3/11, lorna puleo <lorna.doone1@live.com> wrote: From: lorna puleo <lorna.doone1@live.com> Subject: [NYGREENE] Wagon Whee Boarding House To: nygreene@rootsweb.com Date: Thursday, February 3, 2011, 9:41 PM Hi, I remember as a kid, riding the bus down Mitchell Hollow and passing a boarding house called the Wagon Wheel.
