Roll call for Trumpbour Anyone out there researching Nicholas Trumpbour or other Trumpbours? - I'm trying to find out more information about Nicholas Trumpbour - who was most probably born in Dutchess County before 1760 and Jacob Trumpbour who was born in Saugerties 1778-1779 and married Jane Kiersted. Nicholas may have lived in Greene County (Catskill) at one time. Looking for children of Jacob and marriage and children of Nicholas. Suspect that Nicholas supported the British in the Revolutionary War. Jacob Trumpbour was a "map maker" and surveyor and I understand that he surveyed land for the making of the Erie Canal. Thanks! ~ J ______________________________ J.M. Williams, Consultant PO Box 222 Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 Voice: 518.225.1310 email: jpwilliams@nycap.rr.com
