If I can add a little to Pat's comment, the name Union Society seemed to move around a bit over time. The first Union Society PO opened in 1825, and was renamed Baileys Four Corners in 1850. Baileys Four Corners was renamed Hensonville in 1853. The second Union Society PO was opened in 1850, and mail services transferred to Windham Centre in 1868. Windham Centre became Windham in 1873. The third Union Society PO was opened in 1870, and renamed Brooksburg in 1912. The Brooksburg PO closed in 1923, and mail services transferred to Windham at that time, later transferred to Hensonville.
