Brian, I do not have any info on your Sague name but I am interested in your Harriet Kelsey. I have that name in my genealogy as being born in Greene County in 1813 to a Charles Kelsey ,1813-1857, who later moved with children to Wayne County, NY via Erie Canal. I know your Harriet is not the same person, as my Harriet supposedly never married but had a son David Kelsey (no known father) and lived with her brother Samuel Kelsey in 1860 in Wayne County. Would like to know of your Harriet's lineage as I have been unable to trace my Charles Kelsey and his father Samuel Kelsey with regard to when they came to Greene County from Conn. and when Samuel Kelsey and wife died and where buried. There may be a tie in of families Thanks for any sharing you can do in this matter. Hi Lois: I don't see anything that I have that would match up with the Kelsey's that you need info about. There is alot of information about the Kelsey's in: A Genealogy of the Descendants of the William Kelsey by Edward Claypool and Azalea Clizbee, 3 volumes, 1928,1929, 1947; The Marsh press, Inc. Bridgeport Conn. I found copies of these in the Genealogy room at Adriance Memorial Library in Poughkeepsie according to this :Harriet Jane Kelsey was born in poughkeepsie 11/21/1829 and was descended from this William Kelsey who came from England and lived in Conn. in 1600's Brian Vandemark ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lois K Mirabito" <lkmirabito@hotmail.com> To: <nygreene@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, March 30, 2011 6:43 PM Subject: Re: [NYGREENE] Roll call! - Sague > > Brian, I do not have any info on your Sague name but I am interested in > your > Harriet Kelsey.
