Hi Sylvia, Several years ago a relative put together a great deal of information concerning the Planks of Leeds, New York. Included in this collection is an application for membership in the DAR in the name of Clara Belle Plank-Putnam, descendant of Michael Plank, Private in Albany Co., NY. This application was approved on October 23, 1934, National Number 286907 (record copy). 'Ancestor's Service: 'New York Men in Rev. War' page 114 'Michael Plank (enlisted private Men in Revolutionary War) Albany Co. Militia, 8th Regt, Col. Robert van Rensselaer.' I am wondering if you might like to include Michael in the Revolutionary War project. Also, I could send a copy of this application if you might like to have it.
