There is still a King farm in Athens, and Eben's son and grandson are still running it. Janice Eben Chamberlain King born 9 June 1915, died February 1995. Florence M. Wagner King was born 17 March 1917, died 9 July 1998 Both resided in Athens, per the SSDI. We have requested the death certificate for Eben King. He was the son of Howard Haviland King who is buried in the Athens Cemetery. Perhaps the online listing does not include dates as recent as 1995. Again, thank you so much for the assistance. Nedra
Nedra, I just sent you an email from the 1920 census showing Peter W. King, aged 74, a widower as head of household, his son Howard H. 36, his wife Mabel L., aged 36 and Howard's children Eben C., aged 4 1/2 and Woodbridge H. 7. Does that answer your question?
