Sandi- Thank you so much for all this transcribing! This may be very helpful. I will keep the information and try to figure out how to ascertain which is applicable. Certainly some of the information on Bradford relates to his birthdate. I am doing research on the Huested family in Greene Co - anyone else out there doing the same? Looking for info on Mary Smith, who married Jonathan Huested in 1787 in the area now called Gayhead in the Town of Cairo. They were baptists. Looking for Mary's parents. Sylvia

Barbara; Sorry. I mentioned Hallenbeck and then didn't go any further! Alberta Hallenbeck married Herbert Wright Greene, my grandfather(m) on 2/1/1899 in Coxsackie. She was the daughter of gg Albert Hallenbeck and gg Alzada Garrett. I think they were both born somewhere in Greene C.. In 1880, Albert is listed as living in New Baltimore, Greene C. He probably was a farmer and carpenter, and died in 1889. Alzada died in 1940 at 105 yrs. in Pittsfield, Mass! Would anyone working on the VanDusen line know of a Clarissa(Mary) VanDusen born between 1797- 1804. She married Henrich( Henry) Zeh About 1818 . She died Aug. 27, 1841 in Berne, Albany Co. She had these children, Mary Ann 1819, Catharina 1821, Hiram 1822, Carolina 1824, Edward 1826, David Henry 1828, Cornealius 1831, Elias 1832 and Amos 1836. Sandie, If you are referring to the Wisconsin State Historical Society library located (or was at one time) on the campus of UW Madison, that is one of the greatest collection of genealogical data that I have found -- anyplace. Back in the 1970's when I first started searching my New York ancestors (including both Van Deusens and Delamaters - though not blood related to me) I spent an average of a day a week for over a year going through their New York section. They have their collection sorted by state. I found more data there than I did in multiple trips to the library in Albany. I've sorely missed that resource since leaving Milwaukee 20 years ago! Consider yourself lucky to live close to such a valuable resource. I had no trouble going directly to this auction. It closed on July 24 at 16:04 and sold for $15.50 plus $9.95 shipping. The Bible is in pretty bad shape. Winning bidder was lindap9452. the only other bidder was buyerseller82. If you cannot locate the auction from the url given, go to ebay and go to any auction in the section "Books" and erase back from the end to the actual auction number, then replace the auction number that is shown with the auction number for the bible, namely 6547099824. This should bring up the auction with all the photos. BTW, my great grandmother, Harriett Snyder Champlin, was the daughter of William Snyder (1824-1901) and Emeline Schermerorn (1824-1908. Emeline's parents were William Schermerhorn (b1805) and Margrat Caumor. Cliff Hayes
