    3. Hi Bob! Thanks for the info! I have only one person, Jane Wolfen (sp?) that I even know about and she was born about 1817. I will keep this info as it may come in handy! 3. Hi Jane - I am researching a Jane Wolfen (sp?). I do not know too much about her but here is what I have. I think she was born about 1817. She was the first wife of my gg grandfather Thomas Obryan (OBrien). I believe she died around 1881. I know they had one daughter, Mary Obrien who was born about 1848 and her married name is Webster. I believe they lived in Jewett and before 1848 they resided in either Hunter or Lexington as Jewett was formed from those townships in 1848. 2. First, to all the newcomers, Welcome to the best genealogy site going. My Greene County connections are: Bogardus, Pine, Loveland and Stevens. The Lovelands came to Greene County, from Schohaire County and before that from VT and NH. The Pines came from Westchester County, NY. Have even connected with Pine relations in the Catskill area as a result of this site. I grew up in Ulster County, NY and now live in Maryland. Looking forward to a trip north shortly to do what else, but genealogy research and see that gorgeous fall foliage and get some good apples. Carol G

Have had a lot of distant cousins asking questions and trading info which was really nice and added a lot to my files. Then I started trying to locate the parents of my gggg grandma Lucinda Davis? Andrus over in Saratoga County, with not much luck so far. And so it goes! My names in Greene County are Brandow, Bogardus, Austin, Sawyer and many married in names. Always glad to share what I have. I'm still updating Steuben County cemeteries from daily obits, so if you need recent info, you might find it now. PS Sylvia---will be back to work when it quiets down here a bit.

    3. Tom - I see you are researching the Lord, O'Bryan/O'Brien families. These are the names I have been working on. Are they in your research as well? Thomas Obrien (Obryan) born ~ 1812, died 1880 Angeline Lord OBrien (Obryan), ? born 1841 This was Thomas's second wife and they had 5 children: Asa, Elbert (my great grandfather), Libbie, Clarence and William. They lived in East Jewett, Greene Co. I just started my research but I do have some information as I visited a cousin about 2 years ago who was able to help me a lot with the O'Brien side of the family as she is an O'Brien. Let me know if this is useful. Maureen in Raleigh, NC On Mon, 19 Sep 2005 15:57:50 EDT VTvending@aol.com writes: > Hi Sylvia: > I always enjoy seeing what's going on. Had a sister named Frances who married Jerome's brother David in 1886. If anyone comes across her name on any cemetery listings please contact me. She also may be related to the Deyo family through her mother. I do know she was alive in the 1920 federal census living in Arkville. I found no other data on her there. She is not buried in the same place as Jerome. BC
