    3. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to All. May the year ahead be one of health, peace and many blessings in your lives. We head up to NY from GA for our son's wedding. December 30th. The Church is in Poultney, VT and the reception in Glens Falls. In this past year I am thankful for all the work done by Sylvia and everyone who adds to this site. Without it I would have never connected with my family of the past. I truly appreciate all the work done by everyone and their generous help. I thank all those who personally helped me with information, prayers when we travelled and for my cousin and family during Katrina and mostly for all the thoughts of sympathy when my mother died last Dec. 26th. You are the stars in heaven. Sincerely, Virginia Sanok The Best Gift we can give each other * is the Truth * __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! 2. Raymond W. Smith
    3. Hello fellow Dutchmen: I just recently came across a couple of Web sites that may be of interest to the Green County bunch. The Danish Emigration Archives at: http://www.emiarch.dk/search.php3?l=en And The Association of European Migration Institutions. http://www.aemi.dk/adr.php My dad was very proud of his "Holland Dutch" heritage and spoke of it often including the fact that the old Mansion House Inn, where he was brought up in West Coxsackie was built from the ballast bricks that the Dutch ships brought over. I think he would be very upset to know that I have traced my "Smith" line back to John Smyth (1558-1612) from Jolly Old England (Stratford On Avon, Warwickshire, England). All kidding aside, he was right about so many of my ancestors that came from the "Holland Dutch" area. I really appreciate all that the people have done in making so much information available to the general public. Best regards, Ray Smith Long Lake, NY

    3. Kim, Garret is also my great-great-great grandfather. My great-great-grandmother was his daughter Minerva Sarah(who married her second cousin, Miles Tulley). I have the most information on them, but have some other information that I have gathered. I don't have a Samuel for them. I got this information from the 1860 and 1870 censuses. They are descendants of Johannes Frederich Tolle and Catherine Burhans who came over from Holland in the 1750/60's. Garret's father was William Tolley, William's father was Hinrich Bartholomaus Tolley who was the oldest child of Johannes Frederich Tolle. I had recently converted to a new PC and haven't gotten around to getting my genealogy stuff organized. Maybe this will give me some motivation. Here is some: Descendants of William Tolley 1 William Tolley Male .. 2 Garret Henry Tolley Born: 1824 Male ..... +Maria Lampman Born: 1823 Female ...... 3 Emma Tolley Born: 1844 Female ...... 3 Leonard Tolley Born: 1846 Male ...... 3 Minerva Sarah Tolley Born: 1848 Died: 1922 Female ......... +Miles Henry Tulley Born: 1848 Died: 1929 Male ...... 3 William Tolley Born: 1850 Male ...... 3 Mary Tolley Born: 1852 Female ......... +John Goodwin Male ...... 3 Annie Tolley Born: 1854 Female ...... 3 Samuel Tolley Born: 1856 Male ...... 3 John Tolley Born: 1860 Male ...... 3 Worthie Tolley Born: 1865 Male Gene Linkoski glinkoski@tampabay.rr.com -----Original Message----- From: Kim Echols [mailto:the5echols@earthlink.net] Sent: Sunday, September 25, 2005 9:11 PM To: NYGREENE-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [GREENE COUNTY] LAMPMAN I have a Maria C.
