Dear Jane, Wyoming County was created from Genesee County in 1841. The monumental inscriptions from Warsaw cemetery (both old and new) are on line on the Wyoming rootsweb page. Other than land deeds and probate records, it may be tough going that far back, but don't give up! Write to the Wyoming County Historian and request a look in their comprehensive surname files and also ask if anyone else is researching that line. 26 Linwood Avenue, Warsaw, NY 14569. At the same time subscribe to the wonderful quarterly publication "Historical Wyoming", which is $7.50 a year. The INDEX is also on-line and back issues can be purchased, if available. Do you know what religion they were?
