Hi Jane, Warsaw is now in Wyoming County, so any burials would be found there. Other than finding a cemetery or church record, I would have no idea how you might find someone from that far back!! GOOD LUCK!! I'm trying to trace a Prentiss or Prentice HOLMES who was there 1820 and 1830. Census indicates 8 children b. ca 1798 (in Vt.) to ca 1816, but I don't have names of any, and I don't know who his wife was. He was 70-80 in 1830 so probably died there. I suspect children went on to Michigan, Ohio, or other points west, but don't know anything for sure. His mother was a Hamlin, and I note there were early Hamlins in Warsaw, in case anyone knows anything about that family. Any guidance or help appreciated! Jane
