I have found a wonderful book, titled Lost America, From the Atlantic to the Mississippi, edited by Constance M. Greiff, The Pyne Press, Princeton, 1971, call number f E 159 G7. on page 95, there are 2 pictures of the Dean Richmond House in Batavia, NY. One picture is was taken during its demoliton. It a very interesting and sad picture.... I have scanned it and can send to anyone if they are interested. I have been doing research for several years now in Greene and Delaware Co, NY...my Jonathan Griffin was born in Greene Co. in 1819..he married Deb Ann Durphy. I have not fund their parents yet..but I have lists and lists of Griffins from all around NY State...
