History Keepers: Meeting Scheduled for May We are pleased to announce that we have set the date for our next meeting of the "Bethany History Keepers": TIME: ~ 3:00 p.m. ~ Saturday, May 31, 2003 PLACE: ~ at the Rolling Hills Country Mall ["Carriage Village"] ~ located in Bethany (next to the Genesee County Park, at the intersection of Raymond Road and Bethany Center Road) We hope you can join with us as we continue to share the local history of Bethany. Please feel free to bring any articles or photographs you may have that you'd like to share with the group ~ also, your stories about Bethany. Everyone has stories to share! ...something that an aunt or grandfather told you about "the good ol' days" .... or, remembrances you have about visiting grama in her old country kitchen, or helping your uncle with farm chores, back when they hand-milked cows and gathered chicken eggs by hand....... If you find it interesting, then so will we! Once again, there will be displays of maps and photographs of Bethany, along with some newspaper articles, copies of business directories, and other historical material from the 1800s to early 1900s. Also, available for sale [at $5 each] will be copies of "A History of the Town of Bethany." We look forward to seeing you again ~ or meeting you for the first time.
