Rachel, Were you trying to find this on Ancestry? I tried for you and the image is not there, even when you go looking for it instead of clicking on a link. If you tried to access it on Ancestry, you have to contact them and alert them to the problem. She was on page 128 in Warsaw, Genesee Co., NY. REMINDER !! TODAY is our meeting ~ Hope to see you there! The next meeting for the History Keepers of Bethany: ~ Saturday, August 23rd ~ 3:00 p.m., in Bethany, at the Rolling Hills (formerly Carriage Village) One of the topics which will be open for discussion will be the Town Hall of Bethany ~ as many of you are aware, the Town Board is considering purchasing the Fire Dept's. Hall and renovating it and putting their Town Offices into that building, which will leave the present Town Hall empty. A meeting of committee members to share ideas for what this historic building can be utilized as, if the Town goes ahead with their new building plans next spring, has begun to form. If you have any ideas, please bring them with you; your input will be valuable. ( Or, come to the meeting and voice your own suggestions--at the Town Hall on Monday, Aug. 18, 7:00 pm.) We hope we can be able to be outside for this meeting to enjoy the sunshine--if not, we will meet in the Solarium (the large glassed-in room at the East Wing). Also, I plan to read some of Mary Erwin's poetry--she was a poet from Bethany in the 1870s, she had her works published in the local newspapers and in Woods Housekeeping Magazine. Hope to see you soon! Linda Schmidt Web-Page Editor for Bethany BETHANY: Its Past and Present ~ Bethany Town Page http://www.arkwebshost.com/family/bluebird/TownOfBethany.shtml

I am looking for the US Federal census report of 1820 of NY, Genese County, Attica which lists Charles Wesley OSBORN (OSBORNE) as a child. His father might be Chauncey OSBORNE and his mother, Polly. There might be a brother, Leonard. Charles Wesley OSBORN (OSBORNE) may have married Caroline C. _(born in 1826 Attica) in Attica around 1845-46. The Charles Wesley OSBORN family moved to Wisconsin before 1847. Egbert (Irving) was born in 1847 in or near Oconomowoc, Waukesha County. I would appreciate any help or suggestions of how to find information on the Chauncey or Charles Wesley OSBORN families. Thank you. Sheila Mahler mahlersl@pacbell.net

I am searching for information on Daniel and Susan (Rogers) Ainsworth of Genesee county. Susan is listed as head of the household for 1840, I am guessing Daniel, her husband, has died by then, I would like very much to know when his death happened and where he may be buried. I am also interested in knowing if Susan was living alone, or if she were listed with others on the census. I believe Susan may have a brother, Marvin Rogers, who also lived in Genseee county for a awhile. I mould be very greatful to anyone who can supply any of this information me, I know some of the Ainsworths and the Rogers family living in Genesee must be related to me but just having trouble figuring everyone out. I would be greatful to anyone who can supply any of this information. so much thanks in advance. Attn: Kurt Kremlick Last year, I walked St. Joseph's Cemetery so I can help you. It is located in Batavia, New York, on Harvester Avenue (the old entrance). It also has a new entrance on Ellicott Street. As for burial information, if you are looking for specific individuals, you can go to http://userdb.rootsweb.com/cemeteries/ where I have listed the complete burial information on Rootsweb. Simply enter the name you are researching and on the next search line, click on New York - Genesee County, and hit 'Search'. Good Luck. Leilani
