I'm looking for a death date for Sarah Grimes Hale. She was born in England in 1860 and came to Fulton Co. with her parents, George and Sarah Hale. She taught school and then married James Edward Hale (1850-1927) in 1892. He is buried in the Johnstown Cemetery with other members of his family, but she is not on the cemetery list on the Fulton Co. usgenweb site. The 4 Feb 1960 "Oswego Palladium" had the following short piece - "Mrs. Sarah Grimes Hale today achieved a lifelong wish - to become 100. Mrs. Hale, a former school teacher, now lives in a nursing home." So obviously she lived a lot longer than I had thought! Does anyone have a source for a death date some time after 1960? (she isn't in the SSDI) Any help will be much appreciated. Joanne Gaudio
