Roche, 65, a member of the police department's radio division until his retirement two years ago, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Peace church. Mr. Roche, who formerly lived at 1458 W. 74th st., died Sunday in Gloversville, N. Y., his home since his retirement. He leaves his widow, Nora; two sons, William J. and Capt. John R. of the sherif's police; a daughter, Mrs. Lorraine Glithero; his father, Patrick; two brothers, Thomas and Patrick, and three sisters, Mary, Catherine, and Mrs. Helen Brennan.
