I found two color images of unnamed women. One is seated alone evidently reading a letter since there is an opened envelope on the floor. The other is of two women, one seated on the floor by a spinning wheel looking up lovingly at a woman seated in a chair by the window. Are these the pictures you saw? I have no evidence to suggest that these are Wells women although they might be. IF these photos were taken around 1900 and IF these are Wells women, I would suggest that the older one might be Sabra Margaret (Wells) Burr who would have been age 54 in 1900, but I have no idea who the younger woman might be. Note that the idea of this being Sabra is complete speculation on my part. I suspect that if the truth were known, these people were part of the reinactments that take place at Johnson Hall all of the time and were taken after Johnson Hall was made a historic site. A bit of research might turn up something. I assume that you found the photo of Catherine Howe Wells and of Mrs. Edward Wells. There was also a photo of a Judson Wells, but I do not know where he fits.
