Richard, I cannot place Wilbur Brower's connection to Jacob Brower of Mayfield b. abt. 1786 in NJ. There were Browers in Johnstown and Southern Fulton Co. and Montgomery Co. that appear to be connected to the line of Browers descended from earlly Dutch descendents of Schenectady and Albany. This line is thought to be separate from the early Dutch descendents of Adam Berkhoven Brower in New York City. The Montgomery Co. Browers are discussed in "Darci's Place" http://darcisplace.com/darci/brower.htm At present there are no solid links between Jacob Brower and NJ family links. His father may have been Jacob.
