Josephine was born on April 8, 1917 in Amsterdam, N.Y. and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Victoria (Jastrzemski) Tarnowski. She retired from the Albany Police Department as a school crossing guard after many years of service. Josephine is survived by her sons, Joseph (Peggie) Brunetto of Colonie and Thomas (Maguy) Brunetto of Pinellas Park, Fla. and her daughter, Rosann Brunetto of Albany. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph C. Brunetto; her sons, Donald and Ross Brunetto; sisters, Mary Dybas, Edna Waschak and Bertha Cuniff and her brothers, John and William Tarnowski. The family would like to thank the staff at Community Hospice of Albany for their kind and gentle care they gave to Josephine during her illness.
