I'm hoping someone can help me out with this - I'm researching my Fulton Co. Ripton family and am looking for the death date of Mary Jeanette Peters Ripton (b. 1879, d/o Samuel L. Peters and Anna Fraley), the wife of former Johnstown mayor Percy A. Ripton (1878-1965). Percy Ripton died in 1965 and is in the SSDI, but apparently Mary J. died earlier than that and she's not there. Also, if anyone is familiar with this family, I'd like to have the married names of their two daughters, Gertrude Anna (b. 1914) and Mary Jeanette (b. 1916). Thanks for any help. Joanne Gaudio

Is anyone familiar with the family of T. Eugene Cook (1859-1920) and his first wife Isabel or Isabella W. (1872-1907), who are buried in Johnstown Cemetery with their daughter Grace A. Cook (1898-1920)? I'm trying to determine if Isabella could be Isabella Ansell, who may have gone by the name Williamson when she married (the name of her mother's second husband) in about 1894. Eugene and Isabella lived in Johnstown in 1900. He moved to Schenectady with his second wife by 1910, but he was returned to Johnstown for burial. Or, to ask the question in another way, does anyone know who Isabella Ann Ansell (or Williamson) married sometime before 1900 in Johnstown? I have her born about 1870 in England (and Isabella Cook was born about 1872 in England). According to the living children entry in her mother's 1910 census entry, Isabella must have died before 1910. Thanks for any help. Joanne Gaudio

Good Morning You might want to resend your Query to the correct Mailing List which would be the Oswego County NY List. The Village and/or Township of Fulton that you are referring to is in Oswego County NY. So are the other villages and hamlets that your mention.
