Can someone please tell me where Lake Titus Road is? I can't locate it on any map, but I find several references to it in the Malone Farmer newspaper. Fred Sedgwick
Lake Titus Rd referred to the road south between Malone and Lake Titus about 6 miles south. Lake Titus can be seen from 1 place along that road, now known as State Route 30, but the lake is not right next to SR 30. There is a small collection of houses in that immediate area, as well as numerous camps along the shores of Lake Titus. That would be Rt 30 going due south out of Malone. Finney Blvd is the street going south out of Malone. As it leaves town it turns into what is called "the Lake Titus Road". Lake Titus is approximately at the intersection of Rt 30 South and Rt 41. You can see it real well on Maquest.com. That little bit of blue at the end of Rt 41 is the lake itself. ----- Original Message ----- From: Fred Sedgwick To: List Sent: Wednesday, August 29, 2007 6:57 PM Subject: [NYFRANKL] Malone Can someone please tell me where Lake Titus Road is?
