The maiden name of Ellen (1802-1871), the wife of Cornelius Toomey was Sheehan. The Lyons, the Lynchs, the Rogers and the Toomeys all hung around together. Is it a fair guess that Ellen Sheehan and Catherine Sheehan were sisters? That would explain a lot, assuming I have my generations straight.
