I don't know if you have tried this site http://news.nnyln.net/ click on Franklin County If you just search the surname like Lamitie, Degon you will find hundreds of articles on these families. If you search in quotes like "Matilda Degon" obit for son Rufus "Adeline Degon" "Joseph Degon" "Adolphus Degon" you will find some info. I don't know all your names so check them out.
