I really do appreciate that! Unfortunately I know most of that already! At FHC they have the records from St. Alphonsus up to 1915 an one of the latest entries is about Helen Szymanski's (from Utica) burial. As I said the church itself did not answer. The town hall at Tupper Lake does not have the death record but I got a copy from the NYS DoH. It says clearly Helen Domaradzki and that she spent the last two years at Tupper Lake. Her second husband died in 1913 and probably she moved to stay with her sister. I have to do a lookup in 1915 NY State Census. You are obviously right with 1889. I mixed up two things. They married in Utica in 1890 and I have a poor copy of a church books entry. Unfortunately the city hall in Utica does not have the record... The reason for me looking for her obit is that I would like to fix her exact birthplace in Poland (German part at that time). Possibly I should look for the record from her second marriage.
