Hi All Thought I would post again (with the email address and another researcher). I did not realize there was such a need for others and wanted to share. I apologize to anyone who already saw this. Several persons responded to ask about Robert Elliott's email address (which is [email protected]). I responded to a posting of his that he would be going to the National Archives and would do research. I contacted him and was very happy with the results and time within which he sent me the entire file. I think he did a great job and he even emailed me to let me know the file was in the mail. My file was on Benjamin WEST, GA Another person who does NARA research: Michael O. Anderson, email is: DC [email protected] He has a web page and it lists the various types of research he will do. I contacted him and he sent me his web page address: http://www.impactvr.com/DCResearch/ <------------- [Must have last slash] Then he sent me several attachments in response to questions, listing in more detail and costs. I have not used him, but may try to see how he does. He says he will research and ship in about a week. I do not know either of these people personally, but with all the postings on NARA and fees going up, thought I would let others know there is someone who will do the research for you, and get the entire file and ship it to you for about the same cost as NARA Jan
