I have a George TRIM(M) born about 1840 in NY. He spent most of his adult life in the Bangor-Brandon area. He was married to Charlotte (maiden name unknown) who was also born in NY about 1834. Both of them list the birthplace of their parents as VT. They had the following children: 1. M Child: Samuel Trimm (my great-grandfather) Birth: 1869 Place: New York Death: About 1901 in a farming accident Occupation: Farmer Spouse: Emma Amelia Guyette ——————————————————————————————————————— 2. M Child: Jackson Trimm Birth: 1863 Place: NY ——————————————————————————————————————— 3. M Child: George Trimm Birth: 1866 Place: NY ——————————————————————————————————————— 4. M Child: Fredrick Trimm Birth: 1860 Place: NY Spouse: Maggie Trimm ——————————————————————————————————————— 5. M Child: James Trimm Birth: 1854 Place: NY Spouse: Susan Trimm ——————————————————————————————————————— 6. F Child: Polly Trimm Birth: 1873 Place: NY ——————————————————————————————————————— 7. M Child: Jasper Trim Birth: About 1856 Place: New York ****************************************************************************** ************************ In the 1880 census, this TRIMM family was living in Brandon with Jackson (age 17), George,Jr. (age 14), Samuel (age 11), Polly (age 7), Fredrick (age 20), James (age 26) Maggie, daughter-in-law (age 21), Susan, daughter-in-law (age 21) and grandson, Charles E. age 1 year.
