Since so many are listing surnames I may as well put mine in again. I only have one connection with Franklin county as far as I know. My great grandfather, Daniel Lee AIKEN, is said to have been born in Franklin Co. in 1825. but so far I have been unable to find any record of the family having lived there. His parents were Calvin AIKEN and Susan DEBOW. Eventually Daniel lived in Tompkins Co., NY and later moved to Warrenton MO where he died in 1892. I have a copy of his obituary. Where his parents lived or who his siblings were remains a mystery. Anyone have any answers? Thanks in advance. Dorrice Wallis Florida
