I don't have birth dates or death dates for her.. she had to have been married about 1912 or 13 because she had her first son Raymond in 1914 >> FYI, Potters Field is a generic term that referred to the cemeteries where the indigent were buried. Years ago, most towns had a place called potters field. Since the Roman Catholic Church would not permit a person who committed suicide to be buried in hallowed ground, they were buried in the potters fields, but most of the people buried there were either poor and destitute or strangers to the area, the graves mostly bore wooden markers, that rapidly deteriorated. That, coupled with the lack of maintenance caused most of the "potters fields" to become overgrown and eventually lost to the world. Rodney L. McKinney [email protected]
