    1. Re: Barton(Tuttle)
    2. The only name I could find was a Biographical Sketch of Joseph W. Tuttle Joseph Willard Tuttle The subject of this sketch traces his lineage in this country to Samuel Tuttle, who was born in the year 1708, and died at Littleton, Mass., Dec. 11, 1780. His Grandfather, Samuel Tuttle, Jr., son of Samuel Tuttle, was born at Littleton, Mass., June 16, 1732. He was educated at Harvard University, and graduated in the same class with his brother Sampson, class of 1757. He was twice married. His first wife was Mary Russell, of Littleton, by whom he nine children. She died March 27, 1772, age thirty-two years. His second wife was Miss Rebecca Robbins, of Westford, by whom he had fourteen children. He died December 15th, 1814. There is a lot more on this Tuttle Family. Let me know if if it could be connected to you. The book I found it in is called "Histories of Franklin and Clinton Counties, of New York. By B. D. Hurd"
