Danielle I found a Biographical sketch for JAMES ROGERS. James Rogers was born in Warren County, NY, on the 15th day of August, 1804. He received a fair common-school education, and came to Keeseville, and, associating himself with Thomas Rogers, opened a store in that place in 1830, under the name of James and Thomas Rogers. James Rogers soon displayed the great capacity for business that marked his whole future, and afterwards did so much to build up one of the largest and most prosperous enterprises in Northern New York.
