Richard, I don't know about the book you were referencing but I know of book entitled "Historical Sketches of Franklin County and Several Small Towns" It has information on Fort Covington among many and it also has many short biographies of local people. It was written by Frederick J. Seaver of Malone, NY and has a copywrite of 1918 to J. B. Lyon Company, Printer. I know that Higginson Book Company (508) 745-7170 specializes in this type of book.
