Thank you for the location of Moria, NY...now the real mystery is just what happened to Raphael Viau's (VEO) brother..Ludger...Jed?.. lo and behold, I find out he married in Canada abt 1859 to Sarah------ who was also Canadian...They came to malone about 1860 from St. Remi... They had a son John born 1870 in Malone and then the whole family moved to Whitinsville, MA to work in the mills...They are shown in the 1880 MA census as VEO with 4 children...Mary, Moses, Josephine, and John. Does anybody have a line on what happend to this long lost line of cousins? Social Security death index shows some VEO in Hudson, MA , Nantucket and Califorinia...Internet shows about 18 VEO in MA today...and 5 in CA. TG
