Can anyone tell me what cemetery may be referred to in information from Historical Sketches of Franklin County...by Frederick Seaver? And directions for getting there from Malone. On page 278 he mentions a Free Will Baptist Society was formed in 1811 and one of its pastors was the Rev Charles Bowles, a negro, and revolutionary soldier who died in 1843 in Malone and is buried in Constable. On his tombstone is inscribed, "for forty years a faithful minister of the Free Will Baptist Church". Pages 296-298 about the town of Dickinson mentions that his last days were spent in Malone with a Mr. Fuller, in the northern part of the town, where he died in 1843 and again it states that he is buried in Constable. From other information, we know that Charles Bowles was born in MA, had children born in Warren, NH and preached in various towns in VT before coming to NY. And who is Mr Fuller? Thanks for any help.
