I am having a terrible time trying to locate my William HOLMES who is said to have lived in Town of Malone in 1869-70, give or take a few years. He was a dentist according to the info I have. Were there City Directories for Malone back then? If so, is there someone on the list who could do a lookup for me? I have looked in the NY Census for Franklin Co. and he's not there. If anyone can suggest another way to search for this elusive ancestor, I'm all ears :-). Thanks... Jackie [email protected]
