    1. Franklin Co. Census Lookup
    2. Hi, Listers!! I am seeking info on my TRIM(M) family in Brandon in the 1905 or 1915 NY census. My grgreat grandfather was George TRIM (per 1860 census, and TRIMM in 1900 census. Both George (married to Charlotte) and Samuel( married to Emma Guyette) are listed in the 1900 Brandon census, along with my grandfather, Wm. TRIMM, age 5 (born 1895). Per family lore, Samuel TRIMM was killed in an accident when Wm. was about 6 years old. The census bears out that he was alive in 1900. I can find no record of his death. My grandfather had a sister name possibly Ethel, a few years younger than Wm. At some point my grgrandmother through her out of the house. I don't know if Ethel's last name was TRIMM or Phillips, since Emma remarried after Samuel's death to William Fish Phillips. The family has no idea what ever happened to this daughter, and we sure would like to know!! Anyone who has ANY info on the TRIMMs or PHILLIPS and willing to share it with me would be greatly appreciated!! Hugs.....Linda Trimm-Piker

    1. Constable & Malone Cemeteries
    2. Cheryl Morris
    3. Hi all, A couple of us researching the PARKS line -- Aaron Parks, a Revolutionary War soldier, who died after March 1848 -- cannot find his burial records. In March 1848, he was residing in the home of his son in Constable, NY. However, for many years (1806 - 1844) he resided in Malone. It seems that the DAR records are also unclear as to where he is buried. We would very much like to know where his gravesite is. His 2nd wife, Rebecca (Merriam?), died between 1841 and 1845 from what we can reconstruct and we do not know where she is buried either. So, does anyone have any suggestions? He was either Congregationalist or Presbyterian. Thanks, Cheryl Morris

I know what you mean about the cemeteries being run down. I grew up in the North Country. When I was in school, a good deal of land was either under cultivation or used as pastures, but the disappearance of the small farmer has caused most of the land to revert back to forest and the small cemeteries are overgrown and some even forgotten about. My ancestors live there for over two hundred years and I still can locate all the graves. Surprisingly it's the ones from the late 1800s and early 1900s that are the problem! Rod Rodney L. 2. Rodney, I visited two cemeteries in Bangor. I am researching KEELER. I visited Sand Hill Cemetery. Very run down and not even a sign. So I am not sure about records on that cemetery. I also visited Bangor Cemetery. There was a sign posted with a name and address of the association for the Cemetery. If you are interested in that cemetery, let me know. Becky

    3. Here is just an obit that was alongside my ancestors' obit. in the Malone Evening Telegram, Jan. 27, 1916. The News of the sudden death of Mrs. Ida WEBB, which occurred on Monday at her home in Massena, came as a shock to the community. Mrs. Webb was the eldest daughter of the late Seth BELL, and in her early days resided in this village. After her marriage she lived in Massena, where she is survived by a husband and two children, Max and Nora Webb. The son being a resident of Tennessee. The deceased has several brothers and sisters, namely Fred Bell and Mrs. Sarah Byington, of Constable Miss Carrie Bell of Philadelphia Penn., George Bell of Helena, and Merton Bell of Washington in the far west.
