    2. Hi, did you ever get a reply to your request for info? If not, here goes: S. B. Lanctot Arrive 22 Oct. 1867, age 51, male, depart Aspinwall, Panama, destination: no change, port of origin USA Ship Arizona Lancto 23 Sept, 1878 age 8, female, depart LeHavre France, dest. USA, origin USA " " " " " 5, " " " " " " " " Mr. A. Lancto " " " 27 " " " " " " " " Mr. C " " " "44 " " " " " " " " No first names were given for the two children, and both "Mr." were female. I looked at the original and it could have gone either way, (Mr. or Mrs. or Ms.) as I saw it. The ship was Pereire. Hope this helps. Mary

    3. You can find MOST of Franklin County's cemeteries online at my web site. There are less than 10 to finish, including: Notre Dame - Malone Evergreen - Chateaugay St. Patrick's - Chateaugay (although you can access burial records at my site) Otis Grave - Malone (a single grave) 1 location of St. Joseph's - Hogansburg Fairview - Dickinson In addition, I plan to update Forest & St. Ann's in Waverly (St. Regis Falls). By the way, I'm looking for volunteers to help with Notre Dame in the spring! We will start in early May and work every day from about 3:30 to 6:30. Longer on weekends! 2. Could it be Burke? The 'on' could be 'ur' if the article isn't very legible. Burke is about 7 miles from Constable where it said the priest was from. 3. Since the Priest came from Constable, which, as mentioned, is very close, The town of Burke could well be the place. I grew up in that area. I never heard of a town beginning with B that had only three letters and I seriously doubt if the town changed names. This is an area that has the same roads that existed nearly a century ago. Many of them follow the original roads and, if you wanted to, you could actually chain a lot out based on the highways.
