STILES is suffering from an attack of grip in a severe form. Miss Mary COLLINS of this place is visiting Mrs. D. GARROTT of Spencer was in town Friday and took the oath of office as Justice of the peace for the town of Spencer. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. TANNER, who have been visiting relatives in Spencer, Candor, and Owego, returned home Saturday. FLETCHER, who had been in town on account of the illness of her mother, Mrs. D. T. KEELER, returned to her home in Ithaca Saturday afternoon, her mother's condition having improved.
