They are Daniel T. INGALLS and Melissa Daku(?) INGALLS. The photos were purchased in Steuben County, New York. Someone pinned a piece of paper, with their names written in ink, to the velvet of the inside front cover of each photo. From the clothing it looks as if the pictures were taken circa 1860s to 1880s.
