    2. Carolyn Page 1081 of Cleveland's book merely lists a couple of hundred "early members" of a small Baptist church in an area of Yates County later called Starkey (near Penn Yan). The page lists nothing but the names, no dates and anything else that gives detail regarding her family. If I understand the text, the church went through various names and locations but seems to have been founded as the "Reading Church" in 1804. It was later renamed in 1826 to "Plainville" and in 1839 it was changed to the "Dundee Baptist Church."
