And is it helpful to go to Albany if you have already researched on the county/local level? My friend and I are thinking of taking a day trip to Albany but only if it is worthwhile since it is a 2 1/2-3 hour drive. I, too, would like this information, only I'd like to know if there is a mailing address and a specific department to contact as I live in Florida and the distance is so great as to make a "visit" out of the question. I'd have to plan for an extended stay to check out all of the archives I'd need to do thanks for any information forthcoming.
