Darcourt ABBOTT was born in NY, according to his MI census records. He settled in Parma, Jackson Co. MI, (1830's) and there is a wonderful sketch of his home in a local plat map. He was the father of my G Grandmother Ella (Abbott) SOUTHWELL. Any ideas about where he was from in NY? Anyone know about Abbotts in NY?
