Hello! This is my first posting to your list. My great, great grandparents married on 15 January 1818 in Ontario, Wayne Co, NY. She was Hannah C Cass b. 27 Jan 1798 in Otsego NY and He was Dexter Bolvin Day b. 1798 in supposedly, Madison, NY. Are there any marriage records available for that time period from any source you know? Also, found Dexter's father Joseph Day on the 1810 Census for Ontario. Any info on him would also be appreciated, as I can not tie Dexter to the Joseph Day others claim is his father out of Walpole Massachusetts. Walpole records do not list a third wife named Mary for Joseph, but family says he had a wife Mary (maiden unknown) Any information appreciated. I have no idea who Hannah's parents were, so any Cass information would be appreciated too. I noted when browsing the archives that Wayne County was broken out of Seneca County in 1823, after their marriage. Have I been going to the wrong place in my search, or would Seneca Co marriages of 1818 have been sent to Wayne County? Janet Nelson
