Seeking information on the parents of Sarah WARFIELD. To the best of my research she was born in Maryland about 1805. She married Valentine COON and had children Edward born 27 Sept 1833 and Eliza born about 1837. Sarah is found on the 1850 Federal Census for the Town of Farmington. She is listed as the head of the household at an age of 45. She listed her birth place as the state of Maryland. Also found in the household are: Mary A, age 23(?); Sarah age 21; Caroline age 19; Eliza age 12; Ebenezer Cooper (?) age 24 a shoe maker; Frances Cooper(?) ; Chisen Reasco(????) age 47 born in Maryland; and Edwin Reasco (??) 16 a laborer born in New York. The 1855 Census finds Sarah Coon age 49. Also listed are Edmond a son age 21, Eliza a daughter age 18, and Susan Seazell a sister age 31. The census indicates that she had been living at this location for 42 years. In 1842 Valentine COON is found purchasing land from a William WARFIELD, but I have not been able to prove or disprove any relationship. Thank you. Dave
