Dianne, I found these Leonard's in Western NY: 8299 Smith, Leonard of Seneca m 10/20/25 Ann Simmons of Phelps in P; Rev. Axtell (3-10/26) Appears in the Geneva Gazette on Oct 26, 1825 and 8300. Smith, Leonard, d 12/10/25 in "No. 9" (Geneva area) (3-12/21) Correction in same newspaper dated 12/28; Died at age 23; given name should read Silas, not Leonard. Appeared in the Geneva Gazette on 12/21/1825 correction appeared on 12/28. These were the only Leonard's and no Everett's.
