Hello Rikki: If/when you have time, please see if you can find anything on the VAN ORDER/VANORDER/VAN ORDEN/VANORDEN lines. For years I've been tracking four VO households that first appear in the 1810 census, for what was then part of Cauaga County.

VAN ORDEN, _____ (Mrs.) d 8/31/33 in Canandaigua (6-9/11) this on appeared in the Geneva Gazette on Sept 11, 1833. 9043. VAN ORDER, John A. m 2/4/31 Margaret DAVENPORT, both of Ithaca, in Ithaca. (6-2/16) appeared in the Geneva Gazette on Feb. 16, 1831 In Eastern NY this one appears: 460. BANKS, William m 6/16/21 Mary VANORDER, both of Troy (9-6/19) appears in the Troy Budget on June 19, 1821 And in Western NY this one appears: 9276. VAN ORDEN, Samuel, Esq., attorney, d 7/10/22 in Catskill ((3- 7/17) appears in Geneva Gazette on July 17, 1822.
