Hi Gary, The "new" phone book isn't out yet, and they changed the area code throughout 2002, so that phone book would have been written when they were all still 716, but as I said, I think all of Genesee County has been changed over now. I KNOW that anywhere in the county that I've tried to call from my cell phone, including home, I have to dial 1-585 first, since my cell plan is out of Buffalo, which is still 716! TOTAL PAIN!! Matter of fact, I can tell you WHEN Pembroke finally changed over, cuz I was in Cleveland last August, when my poor husband called to tell me that our internet was screwed up and he couldn't get signed on...I had to walk him through changing the connect numbers to include the 1-716!!!
