John b. 1829 was my ggg grandfather,he was married to Lucretia Van Ornum also of Willsboro and is buried there in Memorial Cemetery. I believe (and am only really guessing) that his father Joseph was the brother of Melchor S. Hoffnagle. Do you have any further info on this line? Thank you for any help you can give me. Ellie
