    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/YRB.2ACE/177.1 Message Board Post: Ralph, The best that I have been able to put together on Judd Jenks is not proven, but I think I may have it right. I suspect that Judd Jenks is the husband of Elizabeth Baker. He is the only Jenks so far that I have found that fits all of the information I have on Elizabeth Baker. I know that Elizabeth married a Mr. Jenks and that they lived in Schroon Lake, Essex Co., NY. They supposedly had 1 son and 3 daughters. They may have had more children, but the source I had usually only listed the children who made it to adulthood and/or married. So far I have only found 3 maybe 4 girls. If I am correct, Judd Jenks was born 9 Mar 1773 in Gloucester, Providence, RI the s/o James Jenks and Phebe Tripp. He married around 1795 to Elizabeth "Betty" Baker born abt. 1774 in RI (prob. around Providence). They had at least Lucy Ann Jenks b. 14 May 1816 Schroon d. 19 Feb 1905. She was married to William Edward/Edward William Whitney. They also had a daughter Sarah Adaline Jenks b. 1822 d. 14 Aug 1901 who married Henry Culver. Another daughter was Emeline Jenks b. 1818 d. 6 Oct 1894 who I don't think ever married. I think that Judd Jenks died bet. 1821 and 1830 as Elizabeth and the girls are found in the census after that time and Judd is nowhere to be found.
